Lady Oracle is her earlier work and truly didn’t know what to expect there. I also have a problem to what genre the novel in fact belongs. She seems to feel comfortable in gothic romance, black comedy and quasi-noir novel though it's the psychological portrait and depth I'm looking for in her novels/5.
